In e-sales, we all need every ounce of help we can get.
Getting other people to willingly follow up and follow
through for you, can greatly increase your own
e-productivity.


Don't just pray for help. Ask for help from just about
everyone THE MAN upstairs, has put around you. Your e-life
can get easier, and the pot-hole road traveled, might be a
little less bumpy and grumpy.


Few sales people are really assigned exclusive support staff
members. Ask, never tell. Make it a habit to say please and
thank you. Call back and repeat "thank you" again when
everything is falling into place. Spend some of your own
cash on little tokens of appreciation. Share the e-glory,
whenever you can. If something falls apart, DO bite your
tongue. You get paid to take these hits.


Keep in mind that the hours required in a sales job reduce
family time by the nature of the work, be it overnight
travel or follow-up administrative details on nights and
weekends. Don't take for granted that these people are
keeping the home fires burning for you. They are as much a
part of your sales team as the internal customer service
department. Be sure they know that the "home office staff"
is appreciated. (Don't ever call them that!)
